Breezes At Bahia Mar - Fort Lauderdale

Nobody answers the phone, front desk at the hotel couldn't be more rude. Sorry! I'll take my business somewhere that cares about their customers!

I keep forgetting Pics Pics Pics....... I was shocked by the prices 18 for 6 small wings...WoW Loberster mac-and cheese... might have been can lobster...... or... Bar tender was very polite..... This bar is in the hotel.... you get first Crack at our ....So .... hook it up ..Show pictures of good food and drink and have prices that are reasonable .....Take care of us dont deter patrons from your business .. I WILL BE BACK... because of my drink coupon.... Love hote and staff.... oooops that another review

We were told when we checked in to the hotel that the bar served food until 10 pm. After a full day of travel, all we wanted was a quick bite to eat and then showers and bed. We go to the bar at EXACTLY 945 we were told that the kitchen was closed..it took 4 people more than 5 minutes to discuss whether or not the kitchen could 'reopen and if they could possibly make a simple burger. Lackadaisical approach to running a business. This HAD been our hotel of choice precruise. But, no longer. We will forwarn friends and family to stay clear of this hotel and we will jointly select a place that better suits our group. The phone in our room did not work. We see this as a safety concern..no dial tone, none of the buttons did.anything. No beeps or chimes. Yes the phonne was plugged into the wall jack.

Breezes is a little bar/restaurant located in Bahia Mar Hotel next to the lobby. For décor, it's modern, clean and neat with both indoor as well as outdoor patio dining. I've been here several times and after having had their snapper filet done in a lemon butter and a chicken sandwich would say their food is A-OK along with rather good, polite but slow service. Once as hotel guest I was given a bar discount which was nice as otherwise the prices are rather hefty for the drink you get. A service fee, however, is included with your charges. As there a number of very good places nearby to eat or drink, I'd suggest you might be better off going to one of those places.

I worked some events this past weekend at the Bahia Mar Breezes was my headquarters. The service was warm, friendly welcoming (Hi Julie! everything I had to eat was very good! Day 1 I had the Heirloom Tomato Salad (w Arugula Burrata it was DELICIOUS! For dessert, I had the Crème Brûlée which was also wonderful! The following day, I had the Roasted Mushroom Truffle Flat Bread. When it was brought out, I was shocked at the size insisted I couldn't eat the whole thing. SPOILER ALERT: I did. Every, last, bite it was incredible. My friend had their Mezze Platter everything I tried from the Spanakopita (Spinach Pie to the Falafel to the Baba Ghanoush to the Olives, was great! I also had a mojito made with Kenny Chesney's amazing Blue Chair Bay rum to round out an excellent dining experience. If I'm ever back in the area, will absolutely revisit.
