Bistro 17 - Fort Lauderdale

Way overpriced and way over rated. First class prices with second class food and third class service. A nice looking place but no value for the money. There are far better places to choose.

This was a great place to try directly at the Renaissance Inn. You must try the Mahi Mahi tacos. Friendly service fair prices

We had an amazing dining experience here last night! The food was superb. I ordered the salmon with shrimp and it was the best salmon I have ever eaten. My partner ordered the burger and he said it was delicious. What an incredible chef! The cocktail of Sunset 17 is a must! I can't say enough about our server, Robert Rafael! His exemplary service made this night one to remember!! We can't wait to return!

Stopped in here for breakfast while in the area on business. Great experience overall. I had an omelette that was cooked to perfection. My wife had the crab Eggs Benedict which she enjoyed very much. Our server was quite nice and attentive, though not too much so. He made sure our drinks were refilled, but otherwise let us stay for over and hour while we talked. I recommend stopping by here if you're in the area.

The bistro associated bar 17th Street Lounge accross the entrance hall has very good drinks and service. The black angus burger with Swiss cheese, a fried egg and avocado is outstanding.
