Larita's hold a starring role in childhood memories as well as birthday memories for adults. It is just the best. When the kids were in junior high and high school I always kept two dozen frozen Larita's in the freezer so that any snow day could be a special party with a pot of chilli and Larita's cookies. Locals don't even have to say cookies. Just Larita's and everyone within 100 miles who had a happy childhood knows of what we speak.
