Loafers Corner - Fort Cochin

Dropped in for brunch on Sunday. Lovely ambience on the first floor. Ordered a Tuna Sandwich, Beef omlette and fries. Food was good. Good service and attentive. Loved the whole vibe of the place.

Been coming here for many years but things seem to have gone seriously wrong. 4 or 5 men behind counter so why is service so so slow?? Just popped in for a cold drink and that took 25 minutes ffs! The place wasn’t even that busy.

This is one of my ‘go-to’ places when visiting cochin. This visit however was really disappointing, I’m not sure if they had new staff, but the orders were either not correct, or didn’t come out at the same time for groups. I visited 3 times, but gave up waiting on my third visit

An ok cafe with very good milkshakes but not so good burger fries were ok (if they had any). If busy tables are not cleaned or wiped, there can be lots of empty plates left around.

We were disappointed with our visit. The staff weren't very welcoming or friendly and service was painfully slow. Everything finally arrived at different times. The chicken burger consisted of a sad little chicken patty and the salad was overpowered by a very stong dressing. I went to use the loo while we were there but decided against going in as there was such a strong smell of urine. We wouldn't go back, sadly.
