Aldeia - Forest Row

Really disappointed. After seeing good reviews we booked a table here for 8.30 on a Saturday night. Probably the worst night out I've had in a long time. The table wasn't ready so we waited a long time to be seated. Eventually sat down just before 9pm. As we had a babysitter we needed to be home by 10.30 but hadn't got our mains by 10pm. There were a lot of complaints from nearby table too about speed of service (or lack of). We complained and were offered free drinks, but having been drinking on an empty stomach since 8.30 we were really past more drinks at that stage. Probably a one off unlucky visit, but won't be going back. Very disappointed.

I love this family-run restaurant! The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is delicious. The menu is extensive and the prices are very affordable. I have been here several times and will definitely be back again.

This is our favorite restaurant. The food is incredible and the waitstaff is extremely courteous. I highly recommend it.

The food at Aldeia was amazing - absolutely delicious and faultless. However, the one downside was the lack of a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner or head waiter seemed quite cold and dismissive. Despite this, I would still highly recommend Aldeia for a great meal.
