On Friday, November 13, 2020, we ordered three takeaway curries for dinner. We chose Lamb Bhuna, Lamb Kadhai, and Chicken Achari, all with a medium level of spiciness. The Chicken Achari had a spicy pickle flavor that stood out, while the Lamb Kadhai was milder with a creamy and slightly sweet taste. The Lamb Bhuna had the familiar taste of an Indian restaurant, not too spicy or sweet. Each curry came with a free tub of basmati rice and a couple of papadams. Overall, the curries were delicious and complemented each other well.
We had a lamb rogan josh with cheesy garlic naan and vegetable samosa. Easily the best Rogan Josh curry I’ve had. And the naan and Samosa were awesome too. Can’t wait to go back there.
On 18th August 2020, we bought three take-away curries from Punjab Curry Club Forest Lake that evening. Our order comprised Punjabi Chicken (Medium spiciness), Sindhi Chilli Lamb (Indian Hot spiciness) and Sour Lime Lamb (Medium spiciness). These curries came with a tub of Basmati rice each. Included in the carrier bag were two complimentary fried papadums. Each of the curries had a distinctive flavour and was a gastronomic treat to our seasoned palettes. The dishes lived up to their descriptions in the menu in variety, taste and authenticity. My wife and I enjoyed a celebratory Punjabi feast at home that night. Thank you Punjab Curry Club Forest Lake and thumbs up to the chef.
We dined at a buffet restaurant where we were able to enjoy as much food as we wanted. The selection was delicious and the service was exceptional. The best part was that there was no need to wait for your food, as everything was conveniently laid out in the buffet line. The restaurant had a lovely decoration as well.
