Cafe To Go - Forest City

This is not your typical sandwich shop. Each dish is expertly crafted with an attention to detail that you typically find in fine dining establishments. The food is exceptional, regardless of what you choose. And the desserts—oh, the desserts! You simply have to indulge in something sweet. While having lunch with my daughter and her boyfriend, they remarked that it felt like we were at a genuine tea party. This is a fantastic spot to bring your mom, and it's quickly become one of our favorites.

This is my new go-to spot! Cafe To Go offers an amazing selection, from croissants and bakery items to Reuben sandwiches, spicy salad bowls, and a variety of teas. The owner is a huge fan of NYC, which adds to the charm! I even wish I could bring a bed and set it up in the back because I love it here so much. The service is fantastic, the staff is wonderful, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It truly makes me feel like I'm in Greenwich Village in NYC!

I have been dining at this amazing restaurant since its opening day, along with its sister establishments, Cafe To Go in Forest City and 10 North Trade Cafe in Tryon. I have never had a disappointing meal at any of these places. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the owners are genuinely nice people who understand the farm-to-table concept. I truly cannot say enough good things about these outstanding dining spots. If you have the chance to eat at any of these restaurants, I highly recommend it — you will leave happy and satisfied.

I'm a firm believer of you, what you pay. This place is expensive, but because the quality is so good. BLT is awesome, crabcake sandwich is amazing. Everything here is local. Liz (the owner) grows most of all products in their own garden. She's so kind. I recommend this, because although prices are somewhat high, it is because the quality makes them overwhelmingly justified.

This is my go to place everytime I'm kid free for lunch. Such a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff who are always so polite to everyone. The food is so fresh and clean I personally love the tea of day which is a fruit punch mango tea which is my favorite! They cafe is currently updating the decorations and I'm excited to see what the finish product will look look like.
