Twisted Pear Taproom Coffee House

I wanted to have a coffee and read my book. I had a wonderful time! Nice place, I like the interior design and the concept of the coffee house/taproom. The service was great, the lady was very sweet and friendly. When my husband picked me up, we wanted to drink a glass of wine, but we just bought the bottles because the alcohol is only served in plastic. That would be something I want to change. I'll be back soon....

The Beer Society Subscription is a joke. It cost an initial $75 to join you that gets you a 20oz cup and a locker. The original Facebook post promised that there would be invitations to brewery tours along with other limited possibilities, including exclusive beers in your locker every month. To date, I have kept "in the hope that they would go through, but the only benefits I have received for my $75 are the 20oz pour at the expense of a pint throughout the year. The beers they store in the lockers are mainly old stocks that have been on the shelf for over a year. Now it was December and my locker was equipped with a can of terrapin luau. A tropical IPA with passion fruit, oranges and guiana... In December?... When I go to Ingles and can easily find festive and seasonal Christmas songs that correspond to the season. It's just one last round in the face for all people paid for the subscription. A perfect example of the carelessness with which this business is treated. The girls who work there are fantastic, but they work really hard and that is not unnoticed. If it wasn't for them, this would be a star evaluation.

It is nice to have a local brewery type place thst offers live entertainment. That said, parts of this place are pretty dated and seem unspecified. It also has the same problems many places today have too many hard surfaces that make difficult to almost impossible with a conversation because all surrounding noises just bump around. It is a good place to have a beer or wine, it is worth it from time to time, especially if you have a box for live entertainment.
