Max's Cuisine Of The Philippines Waipahu

I have been a regular customer or Max's here in Hawaii or in Philippines but unfortunately I had a very bad experience after ordering my food. Bruhh i told to the waitress to smell our soup because it smell bad or something because we order bulalo but yeah. Bruh I waste my $25 bucks for the yucckyyyy soup ?UPDATE: NOW I GOT TUMMYACHE

Good food mostly but I don't like how most of the food items are made by modifying the original dish and making the meat stupid crispy whenever possible that the meat becomes chewy instead of a savory dish like the bicol express I ordered. Portions are generous. I also did not like how I was neglected in service because I came alone and waited nearly 20 minutes after I was done with my meal with no drink refills or anything and was left alone for 40 minutes total that I had to get up from my table and tell my oblivious waitress that I needed a takeout box.

I like Filipino foods, love to dine at Max's Restsurant, there are many foods to choose from, it is delicious and tasty. Many Filipinos fine and eat here.

A friend recommended we try this place for the first time. The parking is free and there are a lot of spaces available. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The restaurant looked neat and very calming. It wasnt too loud when we went.We got our drinks immediately. Our orders were taken quickly, our food came out quickly and piping hot! The pork skin, spicy tofu, garlic rice, and lumping were all amazing!The crunch was there, the flavor was there, and the sauces elevated the food. I tried the Halo Halo here for dessert its good, but i have had better ones. But, this place is definitely a gem. Will most likely return back here with my family.

First impression was meh! We walked in and the girl in the front (Razelle) looked at us and walked away and then just watched us stand there from another part of the restaurant. Then after a while she came back to the front and asked if we were taking out. We were dining in. So she walked us to our table. Can I say she (Razelle) is the worst server. She took our order and disappeared. We then had Henry come by and started to take care of us afterwards because (Razelle) ignored us after taking our order. Henry was an amazing server! Very attentive and great! He brought us plates and water which (Razelle) didnt even bring before our food got to our table. She had the worst attitude! Then we finished off with Henry. He brought us our doggy bag and our dessert. We ordered the small garlic rice, the bulaklak, Max’s chicken and they were all good. The only thing I didnt like was the kare kare. Usually I am used to the oxtail in the karekare fall off the bone soft and this one was hard and I didnt like the flavor of it. I gave it 3 stars because of Henry and the other tasty things on the menu. Halo Halo was nice!
