Las Fuentes - Florissant

I went out for a birthday dinner with my family, and there were seven of us in total. We were seated immediately, which was great. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t ask for more! They even sang happy birthday and treated her to a complimentary dessert. The atmosphere was perfect for a family gathering. I highly recommend this place!

I had lunch with a friend yesterday that unexpectedly turned into a three-and-a-half-hour visit, but don’t worry, we tipped generously! The food was fantastic, and the service was even better. Our waiter, who wore a wig (we didn’t catch his name), provided a lot of entertainment and kept us laughing throughout our meal. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to enjoy themselves. Carlos, our waiter, was incredibly polite, patient (especially since we took forever to decide what to order), and friendly. He didn’t seem bothered that we lingered at our table for a while. This restaurant has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere, and we both definitely plan to return—sooner rather than later!

On the positive side, the service was excellent, and I have to give them credit for that. However, for three enchiladas, a side of rice, and beef nachos, our bill was significantly higher than what I expected for the portion sizes. We chose this place because we were looking for a New Mexican restaurant during our visit to St. Louis and found it had many good reviews. However, I was surprised to find prices exceeding $15 for what was among the cheapest options on the menu—which felt misleading. I just want to warn others not to be caught off guard when looking at the menu for items under $15. I’m giving them a one-star rating mainly because of the great service, but I also want to point out that the food felt more "American Mexican" rather than authentic. Additionally, the menu had a surprisingly limited selection, which is unusual for a Mexican restaurant.

The staff is friendly, respectful, and welcoming. We where asked to be seated immediately after we entered the restaurant. The environment was pretty chill an laid back. Alot of STL vibes for selfies. Everything was made fresh and hot we will be back. All of the food is seasoned to perfection. They have the best beef an chicken fajitas I’ve had in the city so far!

People were nice. Food was decent. Prices were good. But the margaritas though..... AMAZING! Frozen or on the rocks, it doesnt matter!! Their small was 27 oz! Great drinks, Lol...
