Ihop - Florissant

I don't care what anyone has to say! but this IHop is my place! I go here almost every Sunday to get breakfast. Its always packed but somehow they manage to get everyone a table in 10-15 minutes... Its incredible compared to other IHops I've went to. Our server Trent is outstanding with his service! The food was cooked to perfection as always. The other staff members are super sweet and nice as well.

I usually get my order to go. Whoever is the cook early am during the week/ and weekends, everything is always on point. The female manager is sweet, customer friendly and professional. I went again today 2/25 about 12pm. Again the food was on point. I don’t know how many cooks are in the kitchen but they do an excellent job. I don’t know the manager’s name but she is always there and helps the entire restaurant run smoothly.

The server was pleasant enough, but my positive experience ended there. Upon arrival, we were met with a list of rules at the host stand, including an 18% gratuity for parties of four or more. As a usual 20% tipper, I was disappointed to be forced into a set gratuity. The staff seemed unoccupied as we waited 20 minutes for our food, despite the restaurant being only at 20% capacity. The Fajita Omelet chicken was overcooked and tough, while the Eggs Benedict had rubbery yolks. After sending back my Eggs Benedict for a replacement, I received the same poorly prepared dish with no apology or visit from a manager. The $43 bill for two sodas and two unsatisfactory breakfasts was the final straw. This restaurant lacks standards for anyone except for the guests who choose to dine there. I will not be returning.

This experience was truly awful. The pancakes were tough, and instead of breakfast potatoes, we were served small diced fries with grilled onions. I could not even eat it, and I felt like I wasted $30. This restaurant really does not deserve a single star.

The service at this restaurant was slow and disorganized. The server was friendly, but lacked knowledge about the menu which resulted in missing items. The food was poorly presented by the uninterested cook, with the potatoes tasting spoiled. Although we were disappointed and felt like we wasted our money, we didn't want to complain to management (if there even was any) because the server was patient and kind.
