Let me start by saying that the food, what little there was, was very tasty. However, don't expect much for a $14 plate. I had a rib plate. I got 2 small St. Louis cut ribs, some sauce with a few beans in it, and a small scoop of Cole slaw. I did receive a generous portion of onions, pickles, and bread though. My wife got a chopped beef potato. Don't expect a traditional baked russet potato. This was a boiled yellow potato mostly chopped up with chopped beef poured over it. Tasty as it was, it's not traditional BBQ. She too received a generous portion of pickles, onions and bread. Drink sparingly. You get a 20oz drink and sadly, no refills available. Maybe they were having an off day, or had new help in the prep area, I don't know. But for all the good reviews, this was not impressive. I don't think well waste the almost hour drive again.

Amazing stop for lunch! If you are driving through Texas and don?t want to eat garbage fast food, check out this place. Super tasty, better than most BBQ I have had in Houston. Nothing fancy, just homemade goodness with Texas personality. Enjoy ?

My husband took us here on our way back from our cruise and omg I loved it I loved their bar b q sauce

Went there pretty early like right after noonish. The food was good but already cold. Why cold? I got the beef sandwich and fajita taco but it had some brisket in it. Their tortilla is very bland plus cold. I mean I literally ordered waited 3 minutes for my order walked outside to my truck and everything was cold. The place itself is amazingly welcoming and the staff are very polite but they need to up their game in the food quality. The taste was good but whereever they keep it needs to be changed.

Great BBQ. This is my trusted favorite, been going here since I was a kid and even had them cater my wedding 5 years ago! I always get that brisket! Yumyumyum:
