The Thirsty Goat - Fitchburg

I was in Madison for work overnight. After a long day I just wanted a terrace in the sunshine, good food and a few delicious cocktails. WOW came through! Rachel (sp. was incredibly personal, another person who had stopped at my table really talked to me and another guest there, and this terrace wow. I spent too long enjoying peace and quiet there. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to everyone. Thank you!

I got a pulled pork sandwich, it came loaded with pork. I had a ton of leftover pork. Nevertheless, it was quite appetizing! For the side, I got some kind of potato chips, which were salty and crunchy. I got the chipotle sauce along side the sandwich, and it is quite spicy. Don't say I didn't warn you. Overall, the Thirsty Goat has an amazing pulled pork sandwich, and it was done relatively quickly as well.

We were very impressed! Ordered 2 meats, side of Mac n cheese and beef tips! Our server was absolutely amazing. Would definitely go back! Highly recommend this place to anyone going to the Madison area

Quiet outdoor seating a spacious bar inside. Usually fairly busy without being overwhelming, anywhere between 2 8 pm. Brisket tacos all smokehouse options have great flavor. The hot, house made, wing sauce is amazing.

Solid place to have a drink and a meal. There's a small local community of people who frequent the bar are, and Skylar was a solid bartender. I came in about half an hour to close after work, on a week night, and he seemed less than thrilled that I came in to order food, but let me order, got everything perfect, I left before almost anyone else, and he was tipped very well. The food was pretty yummy, and I was more than a little mad when I dropped everything trying to carry too many things into my apartment building.
