Banning Junction Cafe - Finlayson

Best place for hiking and visited during fall season.

It’s a little bit dirty but it’s got everything. If you are looking for food, gas, liquor, a bathroom, snacks, a pawn shop, and free air for your tires, then this my Minnesota driver friend is your stop! An excellent place to stop on your way from St Paul/Minneapolis on your way to Duluth. Stops like these are far and few between on this stretch of highway.

My go to stop on the way up to visit relatives. Always friendly. Clean restroom. Nicely stocked store of course gas.

We were there for lunch, and there was no one there. A little weird going into a place that had no customers. We had fettucine and chicken wings. The chicken wings were very small, some no bigger than my thumb and they charged me .75 cents for sauce. Don't chicken wings usually come with sauce?! The fettuccine was just warm, should have sent it back to make it hotter. The bartender was the server , and very nice, but if we needed something we had to go to the bar area. I thought it was expensive for what we had

Plenty of truck parking. I got in late so restaurant closed but bar whipped me up a delicious pizza. Very polite ppl. Very clean place. Good place to stop
