Welcomed by the proprietor, my wife and I were shown to a beautifully decorated outside table with wonderful views over the valley. The a la carte menu was inventive and it was hard to decide what to choose. A complimentary amuse bouche arrived promptly and was delightful. As for starters, my wife had the souffle and I had the gaspatchio. My wife certainly had the best starter, I tasted it. Gorgeous. However, of all the courses, the pasta course was Michelin star. A thin slice of fried aubergine with home made cheese filled tortellini on top and sweet crushed tomatoes on top of that. A course to die for! On to the mains, I had the wild boar and my wife the beef dish. Both meats were beautifully cooked, sweet and tender in every bite. The side dish of beans was good. The asparagus was a little slimy and unappetising. Throughout the meal we were introduced to a range of wine produced on site. From red, white and rose, we preferred the Chardonnay, and took two bottles back to our holiday villa, having drunk two with the meal. The service and attention was personal. We were the only table that evening, so maybe that's why ! Nevertheless, this restaurant needs your support, both from locals and tourists. This is a new venture for a young couple and a chef who is outstanding in his culinary prowess. Please support fhis evening restaurant. Don't be put off by the long and rough road to get there. We will be back next summer and hope it is still in business.
Excellent lunch and lovely and attentive services. The food and the wine was delicious. We had the four course lunch with wine. Truffle soufflé, pasta, pork with braised onions and finished off with a wonderful chocolate fondant. Beautiful setting and we were very well looked after from lovely people who enjoy what they produce. It was a real treat to see Claudia again who we have not seen for a few years. Highly recommend.
Great family vineyard! Claudia was fantastic and her staff made us feel so welcomed. The wines were delightful and the lunch was fantastic. The wine peering were spot on.
Our lunch and tasting here was the consensus favorite from our two-week Italian adventure. Francesco and GianLuigi were wonderful hosts and their passion for their wines and well-matched foods were readily apparent. We would definitely visit again.
We discovered this wonderful estate and it was the perfect start of our journey. immersed in nature, under the careful care of the owner, very kind and welcoming, the tavern of the estate produces interesting and delicious dishes, respectful of raw materials and tradition. special mention for the cutting board, accomplice the crazy sliced typical of ficulle of which ahimè do not remember the name, and for the first, ricotta ravioli with sweet tomatoes and a pesto di sage and almonds from an immediate bis! delicious, finally, the wine, wisely produced by the vineyards that elegantly cradle the estate
