Anthony's Pizzeria - Fayetteville

I had a late lunch on Saturday at this restaurant. The service was acceptable. I ordered the speck burger, but requested to have the bun changed if possible. The bun was too small and not very good, causing the patty to hang out.

Our group of 6-8 people usually comes to this restaurant on Thursdays to gather and play music trivia bingo. We have generally been satisfied with our experiences, but last night was disappointing. It took over 20 minutes for the first members of our group to receive their food, and the last two of us were served cold dishes that should have been hot. One person ordered a pizza and found that the crust was still raw in some places, indicating it was undercooked. The restaurant was busy, so we understand the delay, but it would have been nice for the staff to remake our orders and bring out hot food. Our server seemed in a rush and did not check back on us, likely knowing that things were not going well. In hindsight, we should have asked for fresh food, but we ended up eating the subpar meals and even left a customary tip, which now feels undeserved. We will be taking a break from dining at this restaurant for now, but may consider returning in the future.

The atmosphere was good and the service was excellent. The only issue was the pizza was very salty. Like they used a salt shaker before they served it. It would have been really really good if not for that. I will go back and just ask them to lay off the salt.

We had a great time with live music, amazing pizza and great local beers. The atmosphere is great and they have awesome staff, everyone checks on you and make sure you have what you want/need. Will be back for sure.

My son loves coming to this place because it has his name in it. They also recognize us when we come in so he enjoys getting noticed as well. The food is also very high quality and they occasionally have entertainment. It's always a very good time here. I highly recommend.
