If you're planning a night out, this restaurant is a better option than Foxwoods. Out of the three meals we ordered, two were very enjoyable, while one was a total letdown. When the Italian dishes are done right, they can be delightful. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner by the water. The service is friendly and attentive, and we’ve never had to wait long for a table, which is definitely a plus. The drinks are generous and fairly priced. When they hit the mark, they’re exceptional; however, when they miss, it can be quite frustrating. On one occasion, I ordered a steak cooked medium, but it arrived burnt on the outside and rare on the inside. We sent it back, only to receive the same steak with the explanation that the charred exterior was just how it was grilled and couldn't be changed. We were surprised, as they usually know how to cook a steak properly. During that same visit, we also expressed concerns about the freshness of the oysters on the half-shell, and two out of four of us ended up feeling unwell later that evening. We would recommend going only on Fridays or Saturdays.
