Red Lobster - Fairview Heights

My wife is a teacher there was a special At red lobster were you got a discount for this day. Before we even ordered she asked the waiter if it was good. He said yes it was. When we got the bill he said it was for dinner not for lunch. They should have told her it that before we ordered.

Very fast service, our waitress was extremely friendly food was fresh and delicious. And considering how busy it was we got our food faster than I had expected

Seated quickly. Appetizers were good. Tried the new crispy green beans with jalapeño dipping sause. Food was good. Delivered quick and hot. It was the wife's birthday. We didn't ask but the brought her some ice cream. Very nice.

Red Lobster's food is always fresh, although it's gone up quite a bit in price..but most things have. The only reason we gave 4 stars vs 5: When we arrived it wasn't overly busy or many waiting but the host made us feel like we were bothering him to take our reservation and to answer about our wait time. We waited in the bar. Everyone was friendly. Our waitress was wonderful and she timed visits well. The food was fresh but only a 4 star this time because everything that had a sauce, including the pasta was way overly drenched with sauce. So maybe a 5 star next time. I don't think we've had less than a 4 star ever at a Red Lobster. Highly recommended!
