Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed that the service was a bit slow at first. However, we decided to give it a chance. And boy, are we glad we did! It did take a while for the food to be served at all the tables, but when the first table received their dishes, the entire place was filled with the delicious scent of well-seasoned food. Our prime rib and lamb chops arrived seared but rare, with a 750-degree salted stone provided for us to finish cooking them to perfection. With the addition of the Garlic Chimi Sauce, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and even had enough leftovers to enjoy later. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
I?m so glad one of my favorite restaurants is back open. We missed the atmosphere, staff and food while they were closed! Can?t wait to bring my parent back here when they come back in town in October!!! Also love that they added some new items to themenu. Tonight I will be trying the 4 cheese Mac and cheese!!!
My wife and I make it a point to go out for dinner every Saturday night and choose a different restaurant each week. In the St. Louis area and Metro East, there are plenty of great dining options, but Gaucho's has quickly become our favorite. We were seated promptly by one of the friendliest waitresses we've ever encountered. She was exceptionally helpful and provided detailed explanations of the menu, from the appetizers to the entrees. My wife opted for the Salmon dinner, while I indulged in a generous rib-eye steak. The steaks at Gaucho's are cooked using the Stone Grill Experience, which seals in the flavor and tenderness. They are served with a tasty Argentinian Chimichurri sauce that enhances the overall taste. Despite being quite full, we couldn't resist trying the Key-Lime Pie for dessert, which was also delicious. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Gaucho's.
I highly recommend this restaurant, it was a real treat! The food is top-notch, especially the appetizers. The 16oz steak we ordered cooked on a stone at our table was a unique and delicious experience. The server was knowledgeable and told us all about it. They do have paper menus available if you prefer not to use the QR code. This restaurant is a hidden gem and I'm thrilled we dined here. Our friends ordered the pork chop and chicken breast and also enjoyed their meals. I regret not taking photos of the beautifully plated food, as the chef clearly put in a lot of effort to make it look fantastic.
