Tokyo Sushi Hibachi - Fairhope

I've only ever ordered takeout from this restaurant, but I hope to dine in someday. Their sashimi is outstanding—no complaints whatsoever! I didn’t include photos of the soup and salad. You can also enjoy hibachi dinner here, which is great because some places don’t offer this option. The wait time was reasonable as well. However, I felt that the miso soup could use a bit more flavor, though it wasn't bad, so it didn’t bother me too much. I was pleasantly surprised by how filling the fried rice was!

My wife and I dined here for the first time tonight, and I must say, the service was outstanding! Stacey was our server, and she did a fantastic job. As a diabetic, I requested some specific vegetables for my Mongolian beef, and it was no trouble at all! My wife, who is a big fan of sushi, was extremely impressed as well. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the restaurant was very clean—definitely a place that deserves its 98 reviews. The restroom was spotless, and we were able to eat and have a conversation without shouting, which is a huge plus! Trying out a new restaurant can be nerve-wracking, but there’s no need to worry here. A huge thank you to Stacey for making our Date Night so special! If I could, I would have given this place a 6 out of 5!

Every surface in the restaurant is spotless, and every staff member is courteous, friendly, and genuinely welcoming to all guests. Each menu item is simply delectable, consistently fresh, and of the highest quality. This isn’t just a Japanese restaurant; it stands out among the rest. If you’re hesitant about giving this place a try, don’t be—just go for it, and you won’t be disappointed!

Sushi is the best in Fairhope BY FAR. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is great. Sometimes slowly get sushi for one or two sushi dishes, but it is worth waiting. Kat is a great server. Very attentive and friendly.

With so many great restaurants in Fairhope things can get a bit crowded. Tokyo is located conveniently next to the Pig that is far enough away from down town that it’s not overly crowded and you can still walk in without much wait. They have a large seating capacity with a hibachi section a regular dining and a sushi bar. Jackie and his crew do a great job, this is run by a great family and it gives off a very home town vibe.
