Tamara's Downtown - Fairhope

While the waitress was pleasant, the kitchen staff and cooks really need to familiarize themselves with health code standards, as they seemed to be violating several of them. If I were in the kitchen, I'd focus more on preparing the food rather than sitting at the bar on my phone and chatting with coworkers. In response to the owner's comment: As I mentioned, our waitress was indeed nice, and we did pay for what we ordered and left a tip as well. I have no intention of asking for a refund on the food we ordered and attempted to eat. As the owner, it's important to be aware of what's happening in your restaurant and how that may be perceived by customers. I would suggest reviewing and more strictly enforcing standard food service operations. Wishing you a pleasant evening.

We ate Sunday brunch and could not have been happier! the slow jazz was a perfect atmosphere to go with the ambiente! the food was good for the price and the taste was very good. our server was personal and helped to set the brunch mood. I would strongly recommend and we will be back.

Thanks to waze tamara’s was a recommended lunch break. so we stopped! fairhope is a nice city with a large selection of shops and restaurants. we moved to tamara at 1:30 and sat immediately. the host sat us and spoke with us briefly about the menu, recommending the wild salmon blt or the turkey avacado wrap. we had both and they were amazing! the waiter was wonderful and shared our packaging on two plates for us. we were in less than an hour and had a wonderful lunch. highly recommended!

Five stars for the fried avocado, how did I never have that before? the waitress made a few mistakes to first serve a cup when we asked for a bowl, and then our main rib order put in as ribeye order. but she corrected both in the receipt to reflect the prices of what we ordered, which meant that we would cost a lot, as the ribeye would cost more.

Large server, large selection in the menu, loved the atmosphere! my man had a burger who was huge and tasty. I enjoyed the tasty garnel and groom. we're coming back!
