Bella Sera - Fairfield

The service was exceptionally unsatisfactory. I won’t be returning due to this experience.

I had a wonderful first experience at this restaurant. Although it's quite small, the atmosphere made us feel very welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious. Three of my friends ordered the special creamy Gorgonzola risotto topped with sliced filet, and they all finished every last bite! I highly recommend dining here!

I was disappointed with our takeout dinner. I ordered the Orecchiette, which was supposed to include shrimp, but there were only about three shrimp, and they were the size of dimes. The container didn't seem full either. My husband ordered the chicken parm, which only included one piece of chicken and did not come with any pasta. While the food tasted good, it just wasn't worth the price we paid.

Yesterday was my son's Confirmation, and we decided to take our whole family to this lovely family-owned restaurant for the first time. It certainly won't be our last visit! In short, the food was incredible and the hospitality was outstanding. We had such a wonderful time on a school night that before we knew it, two and a half hours had flown by, and we didn’t even notice! They say time flies when you’re having fun, and when you combine that with great food and service, you create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. I would definitely recommend Bella Sera to all my friends and family! I can't wait to go back!

The food was quite good, but it felt overpriced given the hole-in-the-wall ambiance. While the flavors were enjoyable, we were disappointed with the service. When spending this amount of money, we prefer not to feel rushed. Personally, I don't think I'll return. Although the food was decent, it didn't quite meet my expectations, so I'll give it 4 stars.
