B Fairfield

Locals absolutely love Plan B, so we knew we had to try it out when we were in the area. There's a great bar that I would have loved to saddle up to ... but I was with the kids. So no bar lounging for mama. I'm a burger lover, so when I saw that they had a pretzel burger, I knew I just had to try it. This place could have been a 5 star but the disappointing pretzel bun killed a star for me. The burger was perfectly done. The fries were tasty (but I was digging the tater tots my friend had gotten and I should have ordered crispy and a taste of my childhood). But that darn pretzel bun... it fell flat. It didn't have the expected punch of a pretzel roll, it was just too boring. Made me wish I had tried something a bit different on the menu. I would definitely go back to Plan B Burger again... but skip that darn pretzel roll.

So, Plan B saw my review. They reached out. And they have been AWESOME. First off, they comped our food and wine I think the next 3 times we went. I also received an in person and online apology--above and beyond customer service. And, Fairfield's fryer has gone completely gluten free! I've sampled dishes outside the burger and everything is good, solid bar food. Thanks, Plan B : You know how to make things right for your customers.

Typically a HUGE fan of Plan B. We go to the Glastonbury location all the time (they are always on point! . This Fairfield was a massive service failure. Utensils weren't given to us. Once I got them they were filthy. Avocado on burger was all black and brown. No pickles offered (which is the plan b thing . Couldn't get a drink refill. Trying to pay the bill was impossible to find the waitress. Fairfield was an atrocious experience. Glastonbury and West Hartford Plan B You guys rock!!

We sat outside. Pleasant weather...but not very good service there..not certain if would have been different indoors. I personally wasn't impressed with the hamburger I ordered, which was supposed to have added lettuce, but came without n forget telling anyone about the problem if u didn't see or need anything instantly. The burger need some type of either added seasoning or to have been grilled. Not much impressive or memorable taste. 2 people brought out the food and in a blink the were gone. The 4 onion rings were good. When I seen this place ground their own meats I was more than thrilled to try it. Disappointed. For the prices especially. $14 approx. for basic cheeseburger.

Nice location. Plenty seating and nice bar. Clean bathrooms. Great variety on the menu with great wait staff. Waiter took the time to help with selections. Wound up ordering brisket burger and salad with a drink. Good food and great drink would def come back.
