Santini's New York Style Deli - Fairfax

This restaurant is the real deal! The sandwiches taste fantastic, and the bread is reminiscent of what you’d find in New Orleans. I absolutely love this place. I ordered this.

The steak calzone arrived charred. I even darkened it so the staff would realize it was burnt. The marinara sauce tasted like it was from a jar.

The food is simple but alright. Egg salad on croissant is pretty good and the service is pretty good. Value for the food is good, too. It's not quite a 4 but also much better than a 3.

I got the Godfather, New Yorker with coleslaw and a small pizza with half mushroom and sausage. Everything was really good! My New Yorker came soggy, but not much you can do about that in delivery. The pizza was ok. Too salty but definitely better than the standard so worth it if you want some subs and pizza.
