A mountain biker-friendly bar in Marin that caters to vegans? Only in Marin.... While not strictly a vegetarian establishment, this restaurant does offer options for vegans and vegetarians. The vegan brats made by Field Roast may be a bit dry, but are tasty when served on a pretzel bun with plenty of sauerkraut. In addition, there are a few other vegan options available on the menu. The bar offers a wide selection of beers on tap, with a friendly staff and a variety of board games and a good jukebox. Fairfax is a charming hippie town in Central Marin with great hiking and mountain biking trails.

This restaurant is our favorite spot to go after a bike ride or for a quality drink in the evening. The atmosphere is great and has a unique Fairfax feel. The staff is very friendly and Vice is always there to take care of us! We appreciate that they have made an effort to include vegan options on their menu. Recently, they have started serving "Beyond" brand sausages in three different styles, as well as vegan chili and quinoa salad, chips, and more. They offer the most vegan choices out of all the biker bars in Fairfax. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, they now have outdoor seating available. This review has been updated as of January 15, 2020.

The food may not be the healthiest, but it is incredibly delicious. I believe they use Field Earth Sausages.

Fairfax is a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts with its beautiful hiking and mountain biking opportunities.
