Bombay Cafe - Fairfax

The food lacks flavor and is of poor quality. The dining experience was really disappointing. They should consider removing "Bombay" from their name as it is an insult to authentic Bombay cuisine.

I have reviewed this place years back when the ac did not work and it was not pleasantly hot eating at a hot day on a hot restaurant. Bombay foods have cleaned the customer and kept in the head. it's nice inside and I want to enjoy the hot eating on a hot day in a chilled eating. eating has always been on the spot. there are good blessings in the food.

Overall very bad experience. went this place to buy the food for a family today afternoon about 2 pm and ended up buying 10 samosa. the type called suvan (with red hat to the back and goggles) argues with me when I asked him about the Tandoori chicken. there were 3/4 dry pieces sitting in the warmer. I think that was the opening. I asked him that I could get some fresh stuff anyway. he was so rude and don't answer them when I asked him as an expert. he replied that he did not care to help him give more training about the customer service.

There is no other way to describe it other than terrible. We ordered butter chicken, biryani, and chicken tandoori. The only dish that had any flavor was the butter chicken, but the rest was barely edible. We were feeling sick just minutes after eating. The tandoori chicken looked unappetizing and the biryani had no taste at all. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This place is one of the worst place. went Christmas Day in evening time,I ordered some foods and later my husband want to some sweets so I grabbed the box and went to the julebi side check the spell)and one of the employee throwing some julebi from tray to trash box .(remind you she was trying to hide the trash box )I was right behind her then she saw me and ran to the front,I went to check one more time trash box around the spoon and paper side and it was real what I saw . They charge you each jilebi $3 dollars and even they know it’s not good . Shame on you awful indian restaurant. One day we will see your karma. Very nasty place. I will never recommend anyone.please beware. They only care about money not customers health. Nasty ????
