Despite arriving 30 minutes early, we were seated right away, and our drinks arrived quickly. The variety on the Sunday menu was impressive. We all ordered different roasts, and they were excellent. I had the triple plate featuring beef, pork, and turkey, along with generous portions of vegetables—at least three out of five on our table! The dessert selection was also fantastic, and I tried at least three options. I chose the apple and rhubarb crumble with hot custard to finish off my meal. Overall, it was great value at about £28 per person, which included two pints. I also want to highlight the friendly and attentive staff.

I've enjoyed a meal here for the second time, and the menu was delightful, featuring well-presented dishes. There’s a good selection of wine visible through the glass. The ham hock was delicious, but the starter of scallops and prawns in garlic didn’t meet my expectations and felt overpriced. The peeled prawns were not very tasty. The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy, with lovely decor and a nice ambiance. I highly recommend it to visitors who book their stay at the nearby Holiday Inn in advance.

We had a family gathering and everyone enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. We would definitely visit again.

Was in the barn owl many paintings before, but at the moment it seems to be a really positive change. eating is excellent, the personal is friendly and engaged and the setting as always is beautiful. I am most impressed by the change in the atmosphere around the place that workers seem very dedicated to providing a first-class service.
