Hen House - Exeter

My sister and I were visiting Exeter for the day and looked online for restaurant ideas. Martin is a friendly and very welcoming host, who spent time advising us on dishes we asked about. The ambience was very relaxed and comfortable and we loved the original Hen House themed decor. We decided to try the Pieroggi (dumplings) which were new to us, and they were delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Huge portions of tasty, well-cooked varied food. Try to be adventurous and try the free starters!

Visited on a girl's night outside. good reviews on tripadvisor. the restaurant was quiet. menu was ok with a selection of chicken dishes. we ordered prosecco that they had to go to buy something! the chicken burgers were delicious and the chips delicious!

Great food and excellent friendly service. I'm looking for a reason to come back soon!

Delicious eating, very generous portions, quiet as we were in the early layer, but I think it burns when full. will definitely return. only other commentary recommend tables are slightly changed so that the person sitting next to the wall is not close to decorative wooden crates on the wall (ouch!
