Took my wife to Yusu last night for her birthday dinner. First time for both us and we were not disappointed. Service was fantastic, friendly and authentic Japanese owner family. Food was just wonderful, for main, we had the sushi and sashimi deluxe meal for two with generous servings of both sushi and sashimi at a very reasonable price. The overall ambience of the restaurant is warm and inviting. While the music selection was a little odd (contemporary jazz), we thoroughly enjoyed the food and overall authenticity of this fine Japanese restaurant and will definitely be going back in the near future!

I am local and I visit Yusu very regularly. I love the food. It's different, tasty and very well priced. Admittedly, I don't find the staff very accommodating. They seem unwilling to make room for bookings, and almost annoyed by large groups (6-8 people). But if you don't care about that, visit - the food is delish.

If you want traditional Japanese cuisine this is the place to come. You HAVE to book as it only has a small seating space and it fills up very quickly.
