Panoptikum - Essen

The Panoptikum is a real pub where you can eat well. On Tuesday to Senior Sports, ladies (every 80 years) go there and drink 1-2 beers. Owners and waiters are all very nice and accommodating. I can only recommend the Panoptikum.

The Panoptikum somehow provides exactly what it promises in the name. Owner Thorsten unites, on the space available to him, quite everything you expect in a pub. If there is no disconnection, you can enjoy various musicians on a small stage. One or another about regional celebrity. With these you can find yourself as a guest at the counter. There is a striking collection of popular social games and even a dart station. If all you don't irritate, the Panoptikum offers free WiFi. Musically, the store has a more rocky effect that you should not stop from wishing you a song. The sound literally makes music. A LP evening regularly takes place where what was brought to vinyl is played. Every Monday is quiz. The questions vary from bock-heavy and in particular from general knowledge. Since the owner himself studied history, the resolution is always a good show at the end. If the weather is allowed, the cozy beer garden of the "Pano " invites you to stay. There is another bar and a large barbecue. The kitchen of the shop is small. Very small. This sometimes creates somewhat longer preparation times. It's not horny as a guest. You have to expect it. Then you can plan it or simply pre-order it. The dishes are worth it. At fair prices a selection card is offered that takes into account almost any food habit or restriction. So far I can't say anything negative about food. It was really always top class. The premises are very clean and the facility is obviously maintained. Of course, you can see that the store has been for a long time, which is definitely not negative. A 20-year old bar can also have a nicely updated barb: a last word about the team. All of them really polite, cumsy and very dedicated. Above all, you can see that they really have fun together and draw on a string.
