Dobbe Backerei & Cafe - Essen

Tasty cheap and Clean. You can enjoy a breakfast, or just coffee and a cake. The place had an English speaking seller, which made a great difference. Very nice for Sunday's morning.

Ate breakfast here one morning whilst staying in Essen on a business trip. This café is right next to the Grillo Theatre not far from the main street of Kettwigerstrasse. It has inside and outside seating and serves the most amazing breads, filled rolls and...sandwiches and amazing cakes and pastries (sweet and savoury). The Latte Macchiato and Streuseltaler I had here for breakfast was delicious and a bargain at just eaten in. Service was fast and efficient. Understandably it's a popular place and well worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or just a cheeky treat!
