Spotted this tiny restaurant down a hallway from the main road and decided to try it for dinner. We were going to have the 6 euro menu but the waiter persuaded us to try the sea food special for two people and a bottle of local Douro wine. The meal came in a bot shaped dish with two giant prawns as the masts. There were different pieces of fish and octopus/squid, potatoes and veg cooked in olive oil. I prefer more spicy food normally but this was delicious and quite filling. The wine was very good and service excellent.

It seems that you pay only for a visit. And the staff has only one aim: to make you satisfied. Cool place.

Such a experience. A traditional Portuguese night. Fado. Dinner with family celebrating my mother’s in law birthday. The Portuguese atmosphere. The restaurant is cosy. Staff and owners are brilliant.
