Viura - Eskuernaga

We had an excellent meal with friendly service. The prices were good. The breakfast, there, however, was fairly standard.

We were stayin at the hotel and had dinner at the Restaurante Viura the food was delicious and service was excellent .

In spite of the GPS it was nearly impossible to locate Hotel Viura. Directional signage is poor so it took us several attempts before we found ourselves at its doorstep. We had made reservations for dinner at the bistro. Thankfully we were not late. Very artistic and avant garde looking hotel. It was low season so the bistro was quiet. Ordered several appetisers to make up the meal: liver pate terrine, tomato burrata salad, cheese croquettes. While tasty and well put together, the dishes were not remarkable. Finished off with a piece of chocolate tart very rich. Felt that the food was very low key compared to the exuberance of the interior design.

Food was delicious and service was attentive. A fantastic meal overall. Located inside Hotel Viura. Their homemade bread is amazing, crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside. It came out hot and fresh. Simple menu but everything we had was delicious.

The restaurant at Hotel Viura was one of the best parts of the hotel—though we really liked the hotel overall. Breakfasts were lovely~very European (fresh fruit, cheeses, cured meats, yogurts, cereals, toasts, etc. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening it was one of the best meals of our entire trip. Inventive menu, excellent quality equally impressive service.
