The Plough has a fantastic beer garden overlooking the canal, perfect for enjoying pre-match drinks or unwinding after work in the sun. It's a great place to kick off your evening.
This is a great and welcoming pub with a delicious sizzling menu. I tried the jerk chicken skewers and they were excellent. Liz, the manager, was incredibly helpful and highly recommended.
I went for breakfast this morning at The Plough in Sandiacre, Nottingham. I waited for 35 minutes and when my food arrived, it was cold. The bacon was cold, the sausage was uncooked on one side and burnt on the other, there was only half a mushroom, the beans were cold, the eggs were overdone, but the hash browns were hot. If you are looking for a decent breakfast, I recommend traveling a couple of miles up the road to Beeston and checking out Cafe 49, which is really good. Save your money and avoid The Plough.
