Mahar Fish Erbil

The place is amazing. Prices are somewhat high, but still affordable. The food is great and delicious. Generally it is river fish. The mushroom soup is delicious. The service is great. I recommend this restaurant.

As expected from good fish restaurants in this area, very nice tasting fish, delicious, soft as butter, dry outside wet juicy inside. It takes at least 1 hour to be prepared, you can choose your fish alive, then they will clean it, prepare it and it with beautiful salad combination. Once you finish the Iraqi tea is served. Very nice experience.

You can choose your fish from the pool, and be calculated for 16,000 IQD per kilo, the preparation time takes about 50 minutes, deserves but wait

You may not like the atmosphere nor the service much but so far, it's the only place in erbil that grill fish in an authentic Iraqi way (Mazgouf)

Nice seating and service..staff are welcoming and food was kinda good.
