The Raven Cafe - Epping Forest

This caffe is in a very difficult situation for the daily trading. it is located in a parking lot of a motel and when we arrived there was a group of random people smoking and tee drinking outside, which was not very welcoming. it turned out that they were partly auctioning staff, I guess on a tee break. the selection of food was very simple, only a cake despite the enticing pictures here. we had kartoffels that were only microwaves to order, but with the place that is so calm, it would be wasted to do them on other wise. the same with the cake selection. it felt as if the only trade that keeps the place open was personal from the motel and auction space and so felt to be in a personal canteen. the ketchup bottles despite saying that heinz had obviously decanted a very cheap sauce into them. I'm sure it's very busy on a working day, but wonder if that's enough to keep the place that's a shame, as the young owner obviously can cook, she had made suppe.

Awfully full English, I got 5 pieces mushrooms equaled maybe on push 1mushroom overall, as the breakfast should come with mushrooms and was said it would be extra . that is next to the point as the rest of it was mist. bacon still looked at me, sausages were burned and terrible, i was burned, only mist. it is probably in order as it is next to an auktions house, but if they want to eat something decent then don't bother, eating is really terrible. some of them are hot, some of them are cold. all in all, only mist. not even risk trying it as they will regret it 100%. the best piece to visit this caffe was to leave and forget the dog dinner served on the teller.

This is a great little caffe that I have often used to visit in boningtons the auctions. it makes a great all-day breakfast with various specialties coffee. I thought it was only open when there was an auction. it turns out that it is a...total separate business and is open all week. I dive now when I say for a tee and a cake (not the missus). this is a great little caffe with great food.

The dear people just took it. clean and fresh food. nothing like previous owners. homemade cake makes a nice change and beautiful breakfast. it will definitely be back.

If you are passing on the road or going to the auction thus cafe gives you good food, friendly service at reasonable prices. I would recommend it.
