Starfish - Epping Forest

On my way back to London from Waltham Abbey, I happened to stumble upon this gem of a restaurant when my dog needed a break. Something about it gave me a good feeling, perhaps because it was clearly owned and operated by Cypriots. The best fish and chip places near me in North West London are often Cypriot, so I knew I couldn't go wrong. These may have been the most delicious chips I've ever tasted, and I've had a lot of chips in my 61 years. Next time, I'll have to bring my wife so we can try the fish or even the souvlaki. I'm confident that everything on the menu will be fabulous, and the prices are definitely reasonable compared to the crazy prices in London. There's nothing better than enjoying tasty chips in the beautiful Waltham Abbey gardens on a sunny day.

We decided to switch things up and order a chicken kebab instead of our usual fish, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious and generously sized it was.

Grilled fish is amazing. Being on a diet is a pleasure when eating healthy is this delicious

The food here is excellent! The fish and chips are amazing, and the Greek souvlakia menu with fresh salad and sides is also delicious. I highly recommend trying both. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Waltham Abbey.
