l'Union - Epalinges

This was my fifth visit. Enough to have an informed opinion. The eating scene in Epalinges has been ok but lacking in certain quality. The gap is finally filled. This is a quality restaurant, in terms of service, ambiance and above all having a great chef. I have only tried the à la carte, which is slight more expensive than other local restaurants but way superior in terms of quality. There is a special very affordable lunch menu that I have not yet tried. Big terrace which is nice in the summer (but no view and next to Route de Berne unfortunately). Very nice interior … just renovated and a small hotel attached. But the real value proposition is the quality of the food. One step above the rest in Epalinges

Always very happy to go there. Friendly, good and warm.

Average food, very poor service. Social at the price of private.

Excellent dishes, lovely team, fast service.
