I ordered a takeaway lunch for my family last week, and the beef was incredibly tender with generous portion sizes! The prices were reasonable, and everyone enjoyed the delicious meal.

I stopped by for a coffee and a snack, and the café felt reminiscent of a hospital cafeteria, with all the pre-made food displayed behind glass for self-service. I ordered a small double-shot Americano, but it was quite watered down and tasted almost like instant coffee. My scone was unfortunately too crunchy; it crumbled when I tried to cut it in half and tasted like it had been stale leftovers from last week. I overheard two customers complaining about the prices, mentioning that €22 for two basic sandwiches, a coffee, and a soft drink felt excessive. For a fast-food-style café, that price point doesn't seem justified given the quality and options available.

Not fancy- but just really excellent hearty servings of comfort food. If you want a plate of meat, potatoes and gravy this place it where it is at. Also-really lovely and different deserts!

We stopped by for a bite after 2 PM and opted for the roast chicken dinner. While it was decent, it didn't quite live up to expectations considering the price. The gravy was lukewarm, and the vegetables were undercooked. They don't offer children's dishes, so I ordered a half portion for my son, which turned out to cost the same as the full dinner. However, the highlight was definitely the desserts, which were freshly made and offered generous portions, complete with a side of cream or custard. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Just a heads up, this place tends to get busy, so be prepared. If you're dining with a child, I recommend ordering one dinner and sharing.

Woodstock is a casual restaurant where you are guaranteed good quality food and friendly service any time of day. The cappuccino is always excellent quality which is why I go in the morningtime. I’m fussy and used to Italian cappuccinos. It’s also a great option for lunch and dinner. It’s good solid food without being too rich. There is an excellent selection available at a very acceptable price. People from all walks of life eat or have coffee here. There are plenty of smaller tables, but the tables in the window are for sharing and I have often found myself chatting to very interesting people at them.
