The 1940’s Tea Room - England

The carrot cake here was fantastic, although it felt a bit overpriced. However, this might be a result of the current English ownership of the tea room.

This tea room truly captures the authentic 1940s vibe, offering a wonderful atmosphere and an impressive menu! They have a delightful selection of homemade pastries, and even better, they cater to various dietary needs with tasty vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door.

I had an amazing experience having lunch in the authentic 1940s tea room. The menu features delightful old-time classics, accompanied by nostalgic tunes on the radio. There are plenty of memories to see, read, and enjoy. The drinks are also quite reasonable given the quality they offer. If you visit, you won't be disappointed—this place has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorites. It's the best lunch around for miles!

In the 1940s teeroom for dads 85., more wonderful place, Fab food, very attentive couple, they could not do enough for us. Many of 40’s memories that they looked through, read them if they want to, mom and dad had a fantastic time to foot the nights track, games on the table when they wanted to play what we had great pie) many thanks, we will be back

Epicurian quality! We really enjoyed our lunch at the tea room, fish pie was delicious, sandwiches very nice and cake amazing! Stop by and enjoy!
