The Blue Olive - Enfield

In the past I’ve been here a fair few occasions and had a really nice meal, however I dined here recently for Father’s Day and received a very poor experience. At first, they had run out of our top 2 choices for dinner. Secondly, they brought one starter out extremely late after the others, in which we had to keep asking them for it. Thirdly, five minutes before our main meals arrived (which was a long time after we had placed the order) they told us that they only had one veggie moussaka left, and not the two that we had ordered, and pushed us to accept the alternative which was stuffed vegetables. This turned out to be sloppy, tasteless and quite horrible actually. They also didn’t bring our side order of chips that we had asked for, to top it off. We were charged for the alternative and the chips that never came, we managed to get the chips off the bill at least. It’s a real shame to say as we’ve had good experiences in the past, but on this occasion we had a really poor experience all round.

Food was tasteless. There are much better options available for Greek Food. Even had to ask twice for sauce to bring some flavour to the food. Chips were good though. Roast potatoes….I really don’t know how you can get this wrong but they tasted like they had been boiled (slightly) and then put in the oven for 10 mins……..

Had a great time and the food was great. Lovely atmosphere ann professional staff. Might be a bit crowded or loud for some people at times and booking ahead is advisable.

The place is always buzzing and lively. We all enjoyed our food, from calamari, to swordfish, to lamb. The service is good too. We will come again.

The food was amazing, and the staff was great couldn't fault it we would definitely be going there again
