Subway - Emmetsburg

Usually, this place is great, but I was let down during my recent visit. I ordered a specific sandwich, and after they had already started preparing it, I was informed that they were out of a key ingredient. They didn’t offer to replace it with something else, which would have been helpful. They should have communicated this to me beforehand. Overall, the service was disappointing this time. I absolutely love the staff and the food here! They offer fantastic vegetarian options, and there’s plenty of parking available. I usually get takeout for lunch, and the price range is very reasonable at about $10 to $20 per person. I’d rate the food and service both a solid 5 out of 5, while the atmosphere is a strong 4. I highly recommend trying the Oven Roasted Turkey. Plus, there’s a free parking lot, so it's super convenient!

This place hasn’t changed at all in over 20 years—talk about needing a makeover! The two guys working there were quite shy. They managed to make the sandwich fine, but they were completely out of onions. My footlong cost $9, which is a far cry from the advertised $5 footlong. That’s an 80% price increase! I really hope their wages increased by the same amount. Honestly, the sandwich was definitely NOT worth $9, especially coming from a Subway that feels stuck in the 90s.

Management, can you impress upon your staff to get the orders correct. When it happens over and over, it is not a employee problem, it's a Management problem. Especially, when you order online. Just once, can you get the orders correct. Please. If it continues, it will be taken to Corporate.
