Char House - Emerald

This restaurant is not worth your time. The owner treats customers like second-class citizens and it is not recommended in any way. It is located too far out of town, the service is rude, and the prices are overly expensive.

I always have a great experience dining at Char House! I have visited Char House several times and even had my birthday celebration there this year. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The quality of the food, from appetizers to main courses to desserts, has always been consistently good. However, I wasn't a fan of the changes made to the ribs dish this time. The service was good during our visit, although I have noticed frequent changes in wait staff between visits. The atmosphere can be lacking at times, depending on the day and time of our visit, but we always manage to have a great time! :)

We took our extended family to celebrate and the service was good and the meals were excellent. We had a wonderful night.

I had the salmon 2 times it was so good! And the Mississippi hot mud cake was to die for so I had it twice too! The wait staff were great and were very friendly .

We ordered our meals in good time so i was really surprised how long our mains took to come - nearly an hour! Admittedly, they tasted great. The food was very nice i cannot complain about that.Then we were offered dessert, which we ordered. Again - it took a VERY long time to arrive and we only ordered 3 bits of cake - not sure why it took so long for dessert to arrive. We did have to ask staff at one point how long it would be until our meals arrive. The restaurant is nice, the interior decor is lovely. It is priced okay and the food is good but prepare yourselves for a long wait....
