The most incredible hotel and estate! Will defintiely come back again as soon as possible. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent and the views are unmatched. Absolutely incredible! Hats off to all the staff for giving us the most incredible experience! I also left a gold bracelet behind and the lovely staff tan behind me to give it to me. The restaurant was unwelcoming. We arrived for a birthday weekend and tried to make a booking at the hotel restaurant for dinner, but were told they were fully booked. When we inquired about the possibility of getting a table if there were cancellations, we were told it was not possible. Despite finding this odd, we accepted it. We later checked in on the restaurant during the evening and found it to be less than 50% occupied. This poor service from a supposedly 5-star venue is shameful. I do not recommend dining here. This restaurant provides an absolutely brilliant dining experience. They maintain international 6-star standards for hygiene, service, and food quality. The waiters are knowledgeable and provide attentive service in a quiet and observant manner, without being intrusive. The scones with cream and strawberry jam are highly recommended, especially when paired with fresh filter coffee. Overall, an irresistible dining experience.

We had a fantastic weekend at Walkersons! The location is truly enchanting, nestled among the trees and overlooking the valley. Taking walks alongside the river on the paved pathway was a must, as it was an easy way to explore the stunning scenery. The dams were well stocked and there were benches scattered around, perfect for relaxing and reading if fishing isn't your thing. The staff provided exceptional service, receiving a 10-star rating! They were well-mannered, efficient, and charming in every way. Zebras and Steenbok roam freely on the property, adding to the picturesque surroundings, and there is an abundance of bird life. The rooms were comfortable, the service was top-notch, and the location was perfect. This hotel is ideal for a romantic and peaceful getaway.
