Fennellys' Irish Pub - Elkader

We stop here every time we travel through the area. This time we called a few days ahead to request an entire banoffee pie. We've had this in Ireland and Scotland, and they make it so authentic!! The owner had it ready when we passed through and we also enjoyed an amazing lunch. The mushroom soup was fantastic!!! We've been to Ireland 5 times, and this pub captures the look, feel and friendliness of Ireland. Slainte Mhath!

Loved this place!! Their fish is great, and so are the fries!! Dietary restrictions: I noticed they had a lot of gluten free items on the menu! Not necessarily important to me but I know many people who would be happy to know this! Parking: It's all street parking but there is plenty of it! Kid-friendliness: Brought 2 kiddos with us and no one seemed bothered by their noise, which is very nice

The best place ever. And they know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness.

I had Boxty with an Irish BLT. My dinner was wonderful. Boxty I would describe as an Irish way of making mashed potatoes. They are delicious.

This is our second trip to Fennelys'. We came to town just to get more of the egg rolls.
