These bars are amazing! Don't you think there's a great opportunity to try a burger here?

I was pleasantly surprised by my food once I dug into the upper bungalow dish. I also enjoyed great company with Sandy, the bartender. The place was very clean, including the bathroom, and they offered Wi-Fi. I definitely give it 5 stars!

The Swiss and mushroom burgers were fantastic—full of flavor, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The staff and other patrons were delightful as well!

We stopped in for the first time on a recent Sunday. The bartender was friendly and outgoing, and immediately made us feel welcome. The bar was clean and well lit, with seating at the bar, in booths, and at tables. It is bigger than I first thought, with a back room that contains additional seating and a pool table. There are two large screen TV 's behind the bar. Popcorn is available. The kitchen staff were also very friendly. There are signs advising that they have been voted as having the best burger in the county, and in the top five for Illinois. The burgers are 1/2 lb and cooked to the doneness level you desire. They have daily specials in addition to the regular menu, and on this day they had a couple specialty burgers, steak sandwiches, tenderloins, and chicken wraps, cod sandwiches and cod dinners, chicken wings, and more. I tried the Woody Woodbine burger, and it was excellent. The burger had bacon, cheese curds, pepper jack cheese, bbq sauce, and spicy ketchup on it. The meat was large, thick, juicy, and my 'medium ' burger was pink in the middle just as I 'd hoped. Friends had grilled chicken and Rueben sandwiches, as well as another specialty burger that included fried pickles, grilled onions, and a special sauce. Our sides included potato salad, fried cheese curds, and onion rings. Everything was excellent. Prices are very reasonable for the size and quality of the sandwiches.

Stopped here for a drink while driving through; great chill spot; nothing fancy but ice cold beers and super nice people. Very welcoming and if we're ever back up that way, I'm gettin a burger too!
