Santanas Mexican Grill - El Cajon

The food was excellent. The service was good, though not exceptional, as it took a few minutes for someone to notice our small group waiting to order. However, the timing of our food was spot on. Our total bill for four was just over $20, which I thought was quite reasonable for the amount of food we received, especially since I ordered menudo (a bit pricey, but the portion made it worthwhile). The cleanliness of the place was impressive, and there is ample seating available. Overall, it's a lovely spot. I had the best menudo I've tasted in years!

This is my favorite spot for Mexican food, especially this location. The restaurant is always clean, and the food is delicious. You can always count on them to prepare your meal correctly and in a timely manner. I have complete trust in this place; it’s my go-to choice. Finding good Mexican restaurants can be challenging, but this one never disappoints. In my opinion, it’s the best in El Cajon. They provide customer restrooms, wheelchair accessibility, and plenty of space without feeling crowded. There’s a lovely salsa bar and a wide selection of beverages, including fresh lemonade and horchata. The staff is consistently friendly and truly dedicated to customer satisfaction. And on top of it all, the food is amazing!
