The service is bilingual and efficient, and they got our order correct. The menu is the standard Tim Horton's fare. The washrooms were clean.
I went to this restaurant with family visiting from out of town for a quick snack. While there, a man in a truck revved his engine and nearly came too close to the window, making me nervous about potential trouble late at night. Additionally, I caution others that some workers in the drive-thru may assume the change left from your purchase is for them. I had to confront a young man who thought he could keep my extra change, leading to a waste of time as he recounted what he owed me. Tim's charges a high price for the quality of food offered, which I find to be a rude practice. If we don't tip other essential workers in the service industry, such as those who save lives and assist us in hospitals, why should we tip someone for simply pouring a coffee? It is their job, and they are already paid a wage.
I find this location to be well run, and got our order in a timely fashion in the drive thru. The taste was good and consistent with the Tim Horton brand. I liked that someone spoke very clear English and was able to accommodate us out of towners (LOL) They were very nice and I would return again without hesitation. We also ordered a food item which was very good, hot, and good flavor.
We ordered a coffee, tea, and a breakfast sandwich, which should have been simple enough. The coffee and tea were fine, but when it came to the sandwich, we were disappointed to find out they were out of processed cheese spread (like Cheez Whiz). We were surprised as we've never known Tim Hortons to use Cheez Whiz. However, we were thankful that they were out of it and replaced it with a regular slice of processed cheddar. The next issue was that the English muffin was untoasted, which was a letdown as English muffins are meant to be toasted. It was disappointing to eat the sandwich while driving along the highway, and by then it was too late to go back and have it remade. It was unexpected for a restaurant to change their recipes so drastically, especially at a chain where consistency is key. Sadly, it seems that the experience at this location in Edmundston did not meet our expectations.
During planning of our trip we noted Canada has these Tim Hortons throughout the country. Read the History and had to give the place a couple of tries. Besides having somewhere to parkup for a break and using there facilities to refresh ourselves, the coffee, donuts etc were shlzen housen!
