Maple Leaf Queen's Buffet - Edmundston

The restaurant was very pleasant and the service was good. The buffet food was your typical Chinese buffet style food. We got our fill for an average price.

Had the buffet. Good selection of good food for fair price. Make sure you try the spiced carrot cake (especially with ice cream)

We really enjoyed this buffet! Although mostly Asian food, there was a really nice roast beef set out that we could carve ourselves! Didn't have to take a little skinny slice usually served at these places! We were a little late getting there, the plaza was closed but there was plenty of signage directing us to the restaurant. The sushi was unexciting but seemed nice and fresh, lots of choices of typical Chinese food that was constantly being refreshed. Lots of fresh veggies available on the salad bar and some hot ones too. Dirty dishes were cleared from our table promptly, drinks were refilled. We left very full, had not checked the price when we came in so were also pleasantly surprised to find the prices very very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

Let me start by admitting that I arrived here about 40 minutes before closing. This was after a long day of driving and I had just checked into the nearby Comfort Inn. The buffet was closed when I arrived, only dessert options were left so we were told that we could only order from the menu. The options had a lot of rice and I found the beef in my beef with broccoli to be a little chewy. I'm willing to concede it's because we arrived so close to to closing that the food and service was average at best.

We were quickly seated. Service was good. Food selection was good. We were coming in from a 12-hour drive and very hungry so being able to eat without having to wait for food prep was a bonus.
