Y-Not Indian - Edmonton

The butter chicken sauce is amazing but the chicken was not the freshest.

Every now and then a powerful craving comes over me, one that occupies my thoughts for a whole morning leading up to lunchtime.

I'm not a fan of mall court food and have low expectations usually, since it seems it's more about churning out quantity than quality.

Located inside the Scotia Place Food Court on one of the building's levels, this restaurant serves great food with generous portions. Although I found the chicken slightly greasy, it could have been because of the other dishes I tried. The salad and naan were delicious. At $9.99 plus tax for three items, it is definitely worth it. I will definitely eat here again when I am in Edmonton.

This restaurant is only open for lunch during the week. There aren't many places in downtown where you can enjoy a good meal for less than $10, but this is one of them.
